Is it worth going to a Virgin welcome meeting? Do they give you anything worth having or any valuable information that you guys havent covered?

You get a voucher for a meal. If you don`t want that it`s not worth it in my opinion.

Basically its just a sales pitch.

If you are a first timer, it might be worth it but if you have been to Orlando before, I%26#39;d say don%26#39;t bother.

we just got back from our orlando holiday today! The welcome meeting lasts less than 5 minutes! Basically its a sales pitch trying to sell you excursions! Then they give you a meal voucher at Universal City Walk! We chose Margaritaville and when we got there they give you a seperate Virgin menu with like 5 options for food! Very basic menu!

Dont go to this RUBBISH when you should be enjoying yourselves.

Ok it%26#39;s a basic menu but what do you want for nothing !!!!!!!!

I agree with Mike (above)..But

If its your first visit I would say go - we did it years ago and got a free meal ticket to hard rock cafe... interesting.... food was ok but glad i didnt pay for it...

To me it%26#39;s always useful to know how to contact the reps Should you need them!

unsure now - you have obviously never had to contact these chalatans during your holiday for a real crisis- they are worse than useless because you believe they can help. They are hopeless never having been in touch with the real world and never having had a proper job. they do not understand real peoples needs. there may be some who are better than this but not in my experience

- avoid at all costs.

It is a bunch of over made up woman trying to flog tacky trips and shows in exchange for a free meal

save your time and miss this and enjoy your holiday without the meeting

We eventually relented after years of avoiding them (because the meeting was at our hotel).

A complete waste of time. The rep yawned all the way through (as did we), and I could have told him more about Orlando.

He did seem to perk up a bit when a couple of unfortunate novices asked him about excursions. Funny, that.

As other posters have already said....... AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!.

It%26#39;s a complete waste of time. It%26#39;s just a huge selling excercise for the reps. The more they sell, the more commision they get.
