Airboat Ride and Wildlife

Will be arriving on a cruise ship...staying in Fll for two days...want to do an airboat ride the first day when the ship arrives...any suggestions and how to get to the airboat place...the second day want to just get a water taxi pass for the whole day and look about....still looking for a hotel that has water taxi access to stay at...I think the two days will be fun if I can get it organized...thanks.....Ken in Canada

Is about the best known , most reputable airboat attraction in our area. If you visit their website, they list a few tour companies that will pick up and deliver ypou to their site and there is a discount coupon also.

I am not familiar at all with the company that self advertised in the post above, but it is of course a violation of TA to self advertise and I note that similar posts from this man in another Forum were previously removed by TA.

I do belive that Everglades Holiday Park is possibly the same company your cruise ship may use ,if they offer an Everglades Tour as a package as they frequently do when they stop here- you might want to compare any prices you find to what they are offering - though the cruise ships offerings are frequently higher priced.

Almost any hotel on 17th St would be walking distance to the Water Taxi stop at the Convention Center. If you don%26#39;t require a pool, the Holiday Inn Express Convention Center is usually about the most moderately priced and is very clean- with breakfast included- as long as you can do without a pool. The Best Western Oceanside is a moderately priced hotel along the beach and has a pool. There is a Water Taxi stop practically across the street. Sheraton Yankee Clipper is a slightly more expensive hotel that is right next door to BW Oceanside.

Its a lot of fun that ride over there. Not too long to be boring. Alligators come close to about 6 inches from the boat!

Whoa they increased their prices significantly from 2 years ago I see on their website!
