Transfer from Stanford Airport to Disney

We are two adults arriving at Stanford and will need to make our own way to the Disney area. Has anybody got any recommendations for transfers? Is it better to book here or to see what is available at the airport? Any advice appreciated

As its a 43-45 mile journey i wouldn%26#39;t leave it till you get there.

There are shuttle buses and you may have to book these in advance

But I dont know this cos I ';Always'; have a car and wouldn%26#39;t go to the US without one unless I was going to stay in New York or San Fransisco.

Public transport is almost none existent and what there is is time consuming, and lots of places are simply impossible to get to without a car.

There those that will tell you its doable and it is but very restricted

I Haven%26#39;t had a single advocate who has been able to tell me how to get to Old Town and back , Which is at the bottom end of I Drive.

On a Saturday Night to see the vintage car rally, from the top end of I Drive near Wet %26amp; Wild. By the public bus service.

This is just from one end of one road to the other end..

And once dropped of in Disney its like a desert island , easy to get on easy to travel around within. But if you want go to Islands of Adventure at Universal or any other place that%26#39;s not Disney difficult to get off.

Do yourself a favor and hire a car
