Tips, Tips, Tips

We have just booked a family holiday to Orlando in November with Virgin (including car hire). Can anyone (UK posts) recommend whether we pre-book our theme park tickets here ie, travel agents or wait until we get to Orlando and buy them there.

Any other tips would greatly be appreciated.

many thanks

A great site for discounted theme park tickets is undercovertourist.com

If you sign-up now, for the newsletter, on the 15th of every month you will be sent a special link with a secret code to use for even more discounts.

I highly recomend getting your tickets before you get to Orlando.

Happy Planning

Message from the UK.

For theme park tickets we used Attraction Tickets direct - You get proper tickets sent to you not vouchers where you have to queue up to exchange.

It is best to buy in advance as the queues at the ticket booths can be very long.

Do reserve your seats with Virgin- this can be done on line so that you sit where you want and together - Can be done 180 days in advance.

Also join the frequent flyer programme with Virgin and when you return you can build up your air miles so in future you can get money off flights etc.

Anything else do not hesiate to ask as there is so much i could let you know but it would take hours !!

Also look at www.themeparkticketsdirect.com - we received real tickets for Disney within 14 days. If you are mainly into Disney, consider the 14 day Ultimate Pass which is pretty much the same price as a 5 day hopper. It gives you loads of flexibility.

Another tip - skip the welcome meeting unless you are still looking for ideas.

If you want to do any of the sit down meals at the Disney parks, consider pre-booking.

Hi 50YEE, what date do you get to Orlando? And where are you staying?

We pre-booked our tickets from attraction tickets direct and got a 14 day Disney pass for the price off a 7 day pass and tickets for Discovery cove too!!

Have you thought about Discovery Cove? the ticket includes a 7 day pass to Seaworld or Busch Gardens Tampa

Have you got Children going with you?

If you decide to buy your tickets in advance DON%26#39;T book through a travel agent as they will charge a lot more than you can buy the tickets for yourself on the internet.

We personally have used onlineflorida.co.uk for Disney tickets and would highly recommend them for price and service. Many people on here have also commented (both positively and negatively) about numerous other ticket sites so it may be worth searching through the older posts for some recommendations.

If you are visiting non-Disney parks (Universal, Sea World etc), then check out the parks%26#39; own websites - they have some good deals on multi day tickets and as you are paying in $ the good $:拢 exchange rate at the moment will work in your favour.

Feel free to ask any other questions - everyone on here is so helpful and you%26#39;re sure to get lots of great advice!

Happy planning :)

again thank you chinner%26#39;s will try them now

we used www.themeparkticketsdirect.com 拢145 for 14 day Ultimate Ticket.

Also see https:/鈥?/a> have Universal 7 day 2 park tickets for $85,99 plus tax. Says purchase now and use the next time you visit. Bargain next to one day/one park ticket, limited time offer and maybe withdrawn at any time. Its an E-ticket offer, you collect tickets when you arrive.

I am going to orlando next year and have started researching prices on the internet for all the different tickets and the cheapest i have found so far is tickets4fun.com. they dont have credit card charges and delivery is within 3 days or sooner if you need it (i think). I have also been told that if you phone them you can get a further discount.

definately cheaper buying in uk before going

hope this helps

laura

hi there!

A great site for Orlando theme park tickets is www.tickets4fun they sell seperate disney and universal tickets but they also sell two sorts of freedom tickets which combine the two parks and all aspects of them for a really good price plus it%26#39;s uk based which is a bonus.

It%26#39;s best to get your tickets before you go as some tickets that we can get here can%26#39;t be bought in the US.

Hope this helps

HOO!
