Hi,
After standing in line for over 2 hours last time I visited Orlando (MCO) I would like to know which of the above 3 rental companies are most likely to have the shortest queues?
Also can anyone tell me which companies let you choose your own car and which allocate one to you.

well i will be traveling to orlando next month and i am with dollar so knowing my luck dollar is probobly the one that allocates the car to u.
I always use Avis car rental, anywhere I go. When you make the reservation online, you specify the size car you want. When I pick up the car, I ask them which cars they have in that size, ask for what I want, and usually get it. I have been very lucky that way.
We have used Dollar the last 3 times we have been to Orlando and found them to be quick and efficient every time. There has never been a huge queue and from start to finish the whole thing only took 20 minutes at most.

Sign up for their %26#39;Express%26#39; service on their website. Did this with Dollar last year and had no wait at all.
If you%26#39;re flying in to Sanford, Alamo is a favourite of ours. No hard sell, never seen a queue, right on site, and, best of all you get allocated a size of car then you can go and pick the actual make/model you want. If you%26#39;ve booked a full size 4 dr, they say go pick any car in row D,E,F (or whatever) you can then choose the one you like the best, the keys are inside.

I think alamo has the lowest prices and you can check in online in advance and go directly to your car. sign up for the loyalty programs of all the car rental companies-it costs nothing and cuts your waiting down to pretty much nothing.
I would have to say Alamo, we used it last year and it was very fast and easy.
We got to te parking lot and chose the car we liked best.
