Just to clarify, Ocean Deck in Daytona and Racings North Turn ( on the way to Ponce Inlet) are right on the ocean, North Turn has an outside deck. I didn%26#39;t think Ocean Deck%26#39;s deck was on the ocean but I could be wrong. Crabby Joes is a little place on SunGlow Pier right over the ocean in Daytona Beach Shores.
Boondocks, Chart House and Inlet Harbor are not on the ocean they are on the intercoastal waterway. As is Our Deck Down Under, DJ%26#39;s Deck which are located beachside under the bridge at Dunlawton, Aunt Catfish is across the bridge there in Port Orange. Down the Hatch, Lighthouse Landing as well as Inlet Harbor are in Ponce Inlet.
Most of the places have a website if you need directions. Also Caribbean Jacks is on the intercoastal too.
Can you clarify ';dining experience';? Are you looking for upscale or just oceanfront? The Shores Resort in Daytona Beach Shores has recently been purchase again and the new resturant is called Azure. It is a beautiful property and the only one in Daytona Beach to recently achieve a 4 star rating. I%26#39;ve not eaten here since it has changed hands ( couple of months ago). But I%26#39;ve been inside when it was Baleens and it really is a gorgeous view.
Also, Top Of Daytona is fabulous view but I personally don%26#39;t like the food at all.
Chart house isn%26#39;t really oceanview but still very nice and the food is pretty consistant.
If you%26#39;re not looking for upscale all the other places mentioned here are pretty decent. We ate at Aunt Catfish last night which was the first time in a couple of years because our last meals were just terrible. It was really good...go figure. I had grilled Flounder which was yummy and hubbie had a grilled shrimp platter which was also very good.
