Polynesian resort

I have posted this question before a while ago but thought I would try again. We have a magic kingdom view when going to the Polynesian does anyone have a preference on which longhouse they like better?

Hi Doyle,

I used to work at the front desk at the Poly. I would ask to see a map of the resort when you check in so you can see the buildings that have a full view of the castle and not a partial view. Some of the buildings are further from the castle then others. You may ask for a certain building and block a room if you can get there for an early check in but just be aware that your check in may be after 3pm to get the room you want. Hope you have a blast!

You can check-in any time of the day at all Disney Resorts, your room may not be ready until 3pm. Your room is not assigned in advance, so when you do check-in you can request a room, it may or may not be available.

Glad I can help. It depends how crowded the resort was but as front desk employees we for the most part picked the room for our guests or could change it unless it was a large party (more then one room reserved) with lots of restrictions. If you can get there early to pre-block your room I would to ensure your requests and needs are granted.

Thanks again - Have not make airline reservations yet but will try for a early flight. When you say early does that mean before the 3:00 check in or early as in get there in the morning? Sorry to sound silly but want the best room we can get.

You can pre-register (check in early) in the morning so before 3pm. You can put in your castle room requests to block off a room. So if you can book an early flight you can check in and head to the park for the day. When you return your room should be ready.
