know of anyway to get a discount on playing golf at the key west golf course? is that the only course nearby?

It%26#39;s very dificult unless you know a regular or have proof of local residency. It%26#39;s the only course except for a cheesy but fun par3 public course in Marathon.

I think there%26#39;s a discount if you play after 2 in the afternoon. I%26#39;ll check with my husband when I get home from work.

Sorry it took so long - I completely forgot to ask. My husband gets a ';resort coupon'; from the Galleon that allows him a discount along with the use of a cart and clubs if he plays after a certain hour. It%26#39;s either one or two in the afternoon. He doesn%26#39;t know how many places in Key West give the coupons, though.

There are discounts available other than explained above. There is a little shack by the Westin Marina, right in front of Hyatt Sunset Harbor timeshare resort. There are discounts at Sunset Harbor ifin you ask them but not not real sure they will give them to ya. Just ask %26amp; they probably will give ya some. I sometimes pick-up some coupons when I%26#39;m there just in case someone is tryin to play some golf at a little less dollars. Most of the employee%26#39;s %26amp; the Pro know who I am so I usually don%26#39;t have to pay the full price to play golf in the mornin ~~ (:%26lt;)

As an aside. The 55 mile (1 hour) drive to Marthon (Key Colony Beach really) to play the par 3 golf course is a wonderful trip IMHO. The water, sights and sounds are really something.

HOWEVER

There is not a chance in h#LL that I would make that drive to play that golf course.

Well it is fun (The Mthon course) with a group and bevereges........just don%26#39;t get near those owls, they REALLY don%26#39;t like humans very much.
